Mass spell plan to thwart Stonehenge tunnel

A white witch is calling on other witches to cast a spell to stop a tunnel being built at Stonehenge.

Kevin Carlyon says the £130 million road tunnel would disturb ley lines and unleash bad luck on the area.

He claims the road could become an accident blackspot and the lives of local people would be blighted.

He is calling on other pagans and witches to focus their energy on November 2, when there will be a full moon.

They will try to channel their energy to get the Department of Transport to veto the plan. If plans for the tunnel went ahead it would be complete by 2008.

Mr Carlyon told Ananova: "We will be trying for them not to permit this ludicrous plan. To build something on such a sensitive ley line convergence would be like cutting into a 50,000 volt cable."

Mr Carlyon will also get together with other witches at Stonehenge in December to focus their energy at the site.
