Uganda - The self-styled prophet from Luweero, Wilson Bushara, is seeking dialogue with the Government to reverse the ban on his church so that he becomes its first archbishop.
His message to the world, 'Last Warning Church' was banned in 1999.
Bushara (left) told journalists at his home in Bukoto village, Nakaseke, that his prophecy ended in June 1999 and he wanted to drop the title.
He had over 1,000 followers who have reportedly not wavered despite a five-year ban on his church.
Bushara built a huge mansion with a spacious compound where he is constructing a school and a workshop.
He asked the Government to allow him hold prayers with his followers, just like other churches did.
Bushara said as archbishop, his role would be to oversee his followers carrying on ministry and guiding the people.
He denied claims that he said the world would end by 1999.
