The Imam of Kamwokya Muslim community, Sheikh Mohammed Senjala, has said night prayers are one of the major contributors to the spread of HIVAIDS, writes David Muwanga.
He said youths escaped from their homes at night to attend night prayers where activities, including playing sex, take place.
"Children escape from their homes, how are they protected from the many activities that take place during the night prayers?" he asked. He said Ugandans should go back to traditional hours of worship. Senjala was on Saturday addressing the residents of Kamwokya II parish on their Aids Day.
