BOONE, USA - Maharishi Spiritual University of America was licensed June 8th by the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina to offer bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs in Maharishi Vedic Science, the science of consciousness.
The curriculum of Maharishi Spiritual University of America (MSUA) combines academic study with programs to develop the consciousness, or inner intelligence, of the student. These programs include the Transcendental Meditation(R) (TM(R)) technique, a simple, non-religious mental procedure found in repeated scientific studies to increase intelligence and creativity. The TM technique improves academic performance, health, moral reasoning and social behavior, and optimizes brain functioning. "Spiritual" means holistic, or complete. The University's purpose is to develop the full potential of every student.
