Kibera, Kenya - A high school teacher who allegedly recruited self confessed serial killer Philip Onyancha was on Wednesday arraigned at a Kibera court.
Elizabeth Wambui however denied the charges and was remanded to allow police to conduct further investigations.
Onyancha's was one of the most sensational story in the country's recent history as he owned up to the killing of at least 19 women.
Onyancha claimed the killings were part of a ritual after he was recruited into a cult by his former CRE and Kiswahili teacher.
Wambui has been in custody since her arrest at her house in Kahawa West, Nairobi two weeks ago.
She was charged that on unknown dates in 1996 at Mahiga High School in Nyeri, she administered an oath to Mr Onyancha purporting it would bind him to commit an offense of murder when called to do so.
Onyancha and two of his accomplices are already facing murder charges in court but police have indicated that they would prefer more charges against the self confessed killer, who has admitted to murdering 19 people.
Police have also indicated that they may prefer more serious charges against Wambui upon conclusion of investigations.
Onyancha is expected to plead to three charges of murder next Monday.
Onyancha was arrested early this month following the kidnapping and murder of a nine year old boy in Nairobi after police traced him through a cellphone that he used to demand for ransom even after the boy was dead.
He then led police to various parts of the country where he claimed he had killed and hidden th bodies of 19 people.
Onyancha claims he drinks the blood of his victims after murdering them as part of a ritual.
