Wheeling, USA - The city of Wheeling will be a little more crowded than usual this month, as up to 15,000 Jehovah's Witnesses are expected to attend three weekends of convention activities.
Jehovah's Witnesses spokesman Hayward Harper estimates there are about 4,800 members of the group in Wheeling this weekend, with similar numbers expected for the next two weekends.
The witnesses are meeting for their annual regional convention, the first time since 1987 the event has been held in Wheeling.
The convention was split into three sessions because the area doesn't have enough hotel rooms to handle all 15,000 attendees at once.
