London, UK - Young Muslims are to be offered classes on citizenship classes at mosques in Oldham and Rochdale.
The pilot scheme is among a number of measures the Government hopes will help counteract those who preach extremist views in the name of Islam.
The Government is also to fund a board of Islamic theologians.
The move will see Oxford and Cambridge Universities host a group of scholars to lead debates on key issues such as women and loyalty to the UK.
