Phoenix, USA - A prosecutor says polygamous-sect leader Warren Jeffs should be in Arizona late this month or in early March to face charges in the marriages of 2 teenage girls and older men.
Mohave County Attorney Matt Smith tells The Associated Press that Jeffs "should be here fairly soon."
Smith says Utah is signing the last of the paperwork. He says the Mohave County sheriff's office is working with Utah authorities on when deputies can get Jeffs.
A trial date still is not known.
In Utah, Jeffs is serving two terms of 5 years to life in prison for rape as an accomplice. He is president of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It's not affiliated with the mainstream Mormon church.
