Moscow, Russia - The Church is the second credible after the president in the Russian confidence rating.
According to a poll conducted by the Russian Academy of Public Service (RAPS), the president enjoys the confidence of 68% of the population, while only 10% distrust him. The confidence rating of the Church is 54%, while 14% of the people in Russia have no confidence in it, the Vedomosti daily writes on Thursday.
At the same time, the confidence rating of such structures as the prosecutor’s office, police and political parties is negative, the newspaper observes.
