Prague, Czech Republic - Czech have the highest confidence in media, especially radio, while they trust trade unions and the Church the least, according to a poll by CVVM agency released to CTK.
The poll showed that over 70 percent of the respondents trust radio, 68 percent trust television and 58 percent the press.
On the other hand, 23 percent of Czechs said they do not trust radio, and 29 and 38 percent said television and press is not trustworthy, respectively.
Czech military is trusted by over 61 percent, while 47 percent have confidence in the police.
Only one-third of Czechs trusted the unions and 29 percent of them trust the Church which almost half of the respondents considered untrustworthy.
The poll also showed that women rather than men assess the above institutions positively.
