Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Saudi religion police or the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice confiscated a soap product because its logo allegedly resembles the word God in Arabic, reported Arab News newspaper on Friday.
Commission spokesperson Mohammad al-Ahmadi said: "The product was taken down from shelves in October and will now be reintroduced with a new logo."
In the commission's opinion the letter W in the soap's name Wadi resembled the name of Go - Allah - in Arabic, which cannot be used commercially.
