Sydney, Australia - THE death of a woman whose body was found in a dam on the New South Wales far north coast earlier this week was no longer being treated as suspicious, police said today.
The body of the 30-year-old was found floating in a dam at a Hare Krishna retreat at Eungella, near Murwillumbah, by community members about 8.30pm (AEDT) on Monday.
Investigators from the homicide squad were called in to assist local detectives, but have ended their investigations.
"Following post-mortem results yesterday, police are no longer treating the death as suspicious," a police statement says.
Police are preparing a report for the Coroner.
