RSS workers attack Christian youths

Indore, India - RSS activists today allegedly attacked two Christian youths for distributing literature promoting their religion and ransacked a portion of a church in Kabeetkhedi area here, police said.

The activists this morning chased and attacked the youths, employees of the church who had allegedly distributed some printed matter on religion in Pardeshipura area on January 31, they said.

In a bid to save themselves, the youths locked themselves in a room in the church but the activists forced open the door and allegedly beat up and injured two of them. However, one of them managed to escape, police said.

enior officials, including Additional District Magistrate Manish Singh and ASP Rajesh Hingankar rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to hospital.

Police have registered a case and are probing the matter.
