Ranchi, India - Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today announced that his government would soon enact an anti-conversion bill.
Munda told a rally here that the bill was necessary to protect the culture of adivasis and ensure their progress.
Hailing the announcement, BJP Chief Lal Krishna Advani said "Arjun Munda just now said of bringing anti-conversion bill so that no one could impose conversion through allurement or by force. And I was also told that bill for protection of cow is on the cards".
"And if this nationalist party having such vows, could successfully implement all development programmes, faith in the party will increase not only in states but in the country as well and the party will come back to power again (at the centre)", Advani said. PTI
