Capetown, South Africa - Southern Cape police say they are convinced that more children, than was previously thought, are victims of paedophiles linked to the "Trilogy Alliance" cult.
This follows the arrest of two suspects for allegedly raping two girls aged 11 and 14. They were found in a farmhouse in Stilbaai where they were allegedly featured in child pornographic material produced by the suspects. Police say such activities involving the cult, which has branches nationally, could be widespread.
Eddie Cronje, a police spokesperson, says they are busy with the investigation to see how many children are involved in this cult. Cronje says they found two children in a house and have taken them to a place of safety, and have arrested two persons. They will appear in court again December 9.
