Salt Lake City, USA - LDS teens pray more and ranked number one when it comes to the effect of religion on their lives.
That's according to a new study conducted by the University of North Carolina.
Researcher John Bartkowski says compared with other teens, teens who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are more knowledgeable and committed to their faith.
The survey found that more than 80-percent of U-S teens believe in God and two-thirds attend a religious service at least once a month. But L-D-S youth were found more likely to have no or few doubts about religious beliefs and rated their religion "extremely important" in shaping their daily life.
However, L-D-S youth did not outrank their peers when it comes to "belief in God." 84-percent said they believed, compared with 97-percent of black Protestants and 94-percent of conservative Protestants.
