No longer does one have to look up the Bible for advice if fed up with life at office, for the Church of England has come up with a prayer book aimed at bosses and their workers.
According to The Mirror, ruthless employers who feel guilty when sacking someone can say: "This man's got a family and tonight he'll have no income. Today he's got self-esteem, tonight he will feel rejected."
For sacked employees, there is: "I feel I have been used up and spat out by an employer." For those with a mean boss, the prayer reads: "Between you and me, Father, I would rather work for Attila the Hun."
The Pocket Prayers for Work also offers words of comfort for business travellers, fed-up commuters and teachers.
