A DISCIPLE of a bizarre love cult that shows acts of kindness to strangers on Fridays was kicked to death the same day.
Airport worker Seph Lawrance, 22, had his mobile phone stolen in the attack.
Detectives are investigating whether he may have been murdered by someone he tried to help.
Seph, of Crawley, West Sussex, belonged to the Join Me Cult set up by former BBC producer Danny Wallace.
It has 3,000 members in Britain alone and urges people to perform random acts of kindness every Friday.
Seph was found with massive head injuries at 6.45pm last Friday in Goff's Park, a short distance from his flat.
More than 100 officers are hunting the killer.
