Diana's spirit being called to tell about Paris crash

A television station has reportedly planned to telecast a live seance session in which an attempt will be made to contact the spirit of Princess Diana.

Astrologers from the UK, some of whom the late Princess consulted, are likely to feature in the programme.

They will try to seek her spirit out to ask her details of the car crash in the Paris tunnel in August 1997 which proved fatal both for her and her lover Dodi, son of the Harrods owner Mohammad Al-Fayed. He has maintained that the crash was an outcome of a conspiracy to kill them.

The 90-minute show is to be called the "Spirit of Diana" and is slated to be televised for a global viewing on March 9. A US-based company will reportedly charge £9 for one to be able to watch the programme. It will be hosted by actor Patrick Macnee who is famous for his role as John Steed in the popular TV series, "The Avengers".

Programme producers have, it is said, booked six astrologers. Diana’s faith healer and close confidante Oonagh Shanley Toffolo whom the Princess had met just a couple of weeks before her tragic death will also be on the panel.

She has already revealed that Diana had consulted her about her marital problems.

The Executive producer Paul Sharrat has been quoted saying that viewers will see a new side of Diana and the seance may reveal new details about her and her Royal family. The producers are said to be aiming to settle questions like, was she pregnant at the time of the crash, was she really in love with Dodi and was her death due to a planned conspiracy or a mere accident.

The programme will surely create more controversies if the spirit confirms the conspiracy theory. Al-fayed will certainly take up the issue. But it could also emotionally hurt her two sons, Prince William and Harry.

It is yet too early to predict that the reported programme will go through.
