Conference on 'Sufism' to be held on 30th

The Indus Peace and Spiritual Society (IPSS) and Institute of Ethics and Culture will jointly organise a conference on "Sufism: The way of life" at Theosophical Hall, M A Jinnah Road on March 30.

This was stated by Managing Trustee of IPSS, Dr Anwar Zia Ahmed at a press conference on Monday. Dr Ahmed said that some noted scholars, researchers and authors would read their papers during the conference. He said that in the present time, when the clouds of war were hovering over the world there was a need to spread the message of love and peace everywhere. He said that the speakers would highlight the message of love and peace given by the saints and suggest ways how to follow those messages. He said that the peace-loving people of the world did not want war at any cost because the war would have very dangerous repercussions. The Director of Institute of Ethics and Culture, Haleem Sharar said that there was a need to save human lives, animals, plants and natural resources, which would be destroyed if a war erupted. He said that all these resources could only be saved following the message of Sufis.
