ISLAMABAD (Online): Interior minister Moinuddin Haider Thursday brushing aside fears of any crack down against Deeni Madaris said the government wanted to bring these Madaris into a national streamline.He said this while talking with Former Federal Minister and religious scholar Haji Hanif Tayab who called on him, here Thursday.
The Minister said that government wanted to impart worldly education as well as the religious education.
He said that by such measures the students who complete their education from these Madaris would have an opportunity to get jobs in government institutions.
“Government has no intentions to crack down on the Madaris,” he added.
The Minister said that it is the need of the time that religious scholars should join hands with the government in its efforts to end sectarian terrorism from the country.
The Minister said that the government has been so far successful in its measures taken in order to end sectarianism.
“Ban on un necessary usage of loudspeakers has also helped a lot in this regard,” he added
