A mass suicide has killed five of seven members of a religious sect in the Indonesian province of Central Java, report said Friday.
Members of the unknown group attended a gathering at a house inthe town of Slawi and received a concoction prepared by their leader, who ordered them to drink the concoction at 23:50 at theirrespective home.
The members followed the order that led to the casualty, reported Detikcom online news service.
Members of the group were mature couples at the age of between 42 years and 55 years.
It was not clear if the leader was among those killed in the suicide.
