Philippines American missionary Gracia (GRAY'-shuh) Burnham has testified in the Philippines against alleged Muslim rebels accused of holding her and her husband captive when he was killed during a rescue attempt.
Pointing to a rusty dog chain, a prosecutor asked her if it was used to shackle her husband Martin during their year of captivity in the jungle. Burnham said she recognized the chain as well as six of the eight suspects on trial.
She also recounted how her captors called themselves "the Osama bin Laden group" and celebrated after the Nine-Eleven terrorist attacks.
Prosecutor Aristotle Reyes says Burnham wept twice during her testimony, including when she described her husband's death in the shootout that freed her, but left her wounded.
