Manila - A Philippines senator asked law enforcement authorities on Thursday
to investigate a cult that sent offers of "free sex" to several
members of the country's highest legislative body.
Senator Rodolfo Biazon said he received a letter with lewd photos from a
shadowy cult called "Espedeject Ideology", inviting him to to join
the group in exchange for free sex with members.
"I have asked the police and the National Bureau of Investigation to look
into the activities of this group," Biazon said in a radio interview.
"This cult has the temerity to send me pictures that are not only immoral
but may also be criminal in nature," he added.
The pictures showed alleged members of the group, who appeared to be minors,
engaged in sexual acts.
The letter and photographs carried the return address of a certain Leonardo
Erobas, who claimed to be the leader of the group, from Villadolid in central
Negros Occidental province, 525km south of Manila.
According to the letter, the "Espedeject Ideology" espouses free sex
and the use of illegal drugs.
Aside from Biazon, senators Loren Legarda, Noli de Castro and Robert Jaworski
also received the same letter of invitation and the attached photographs. -
