Anti-terrorism personnel have arrested Osama Nazir, one of the most wanted operatives of the banned Khudamul Islam (formerly known as Jaish-e-Muhammad) and allegedly involved in an attack on an Islamabad church, from Faisalabad, intelligence sources told Daily Times on Thursday evening.
“The accused carries a Rs 1 million bounty. Operatives of the banned outfit recently arrested from Lahore told authorities that Osama Nazir was hiding in the outskirts of Faisalabad. An anti-terrorist team raided the place and arrested him,” sources added. Osama Nazir was shifted to Islamabad immediately after his arrest.
