Security at churches at Sri Lanka has been stepped up following attacks on two Christian sites, reports say.
A hall used by the Jehovah's Witness sect and a church in the town of Puvakpitiya, east of Colombo, were damaged by mobs on Sunday, the AFP news agency says.
The violence comes four days after unrest at the cremation of a Buddhist monk, famous for his opposition to proselytising and conversions.
Christians account for roughly 7.5 per cent of Sri Lanka's population.
